The Department of Management in the Willie A. Deese College of Business and Economics at North Carolina A&T State University invites applications for a tenure-track position in Business and Entrepreneurship. The specialization of immediate needs is entrepreneurship and management. The position requires a Ph.D. in MGMT (Organizational Theory and Entrepreneurship)from an AACSB accredited school by the anticipated appointment date and professional accomplishments appropriate for the level of appointment. This is a 9-month, tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Professor based on experience and other credentials. This appointment entails leadership in undergraduate and graduate management entrepreneurship courses, fostering critical thinking and analytical skills, and spearheading research initiatives in management and entrepreneurship. At the graduate level, this position may require teaching seminar-level entrepreneurship courses that may include advanced topics such as patents, franchises, and business planning. As the leader/coordinator of entrepreneurship courses, you will collaborate with faculty members to develop innovative curricula that align with business practices and emerging trends while also contributing to the department’s commitment to academic excellence and scholarly inquiry. This prestigious role offers the opportunity to make significant contributions to both the academic community and our business community. Offering mentorship (academic or enterprise-related) to our students and creating networking opportunities with our community partners will be an expected role of the endowed professorship. The endowed professorship holder is expected to continue outstanding (high-quality) scholarly activity. This may include scholarship in discovery, integration, application, or teaching. Research evaluation criteria include impact and contribution to the holder’s department, the profession, and society at large.
