Aspire Trade High School, a career-focused trade school, is seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Business Management Teacher to teach business courses to high school students. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education, practical experience in business or entrepreneurship, and the ability to deliver engaging, real-world content that prepares students for entry-level business roles or future education in business fields.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver instructional lessons aligned with business and entrepreneurship standards Teach core concepts including business operations, marketing, finance, leadership, management principles, and entrepreneurship Create a classroom environment that supports critical thinking, collaboration, and practical application of skills Incorporate real-world scenarios, simulations, and project-based learning into the curriculum Assess student learning and provide timely feedback on performance and progress Maintain updated records of attendance, grades, and academic progress Communicate regularly with students, parents, and school staff about student progress and classroom activities Collaborate with department heads and other teachers to align instruction with school goals and CTE initiatives Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school improvement activities Stay current on industry trends and integrate relevant business practices into instruction

Qualifications:
Required:

Strong understanding of business operations, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy Excellent communication and organizational skills Industry experience in business management, entrepreneurship, or a related field Experience using instructional technology and business-related software

Preferred:

Previous teaching experience at the high school or postsecondary level Bachelor’s degree in Business, Business Education, Marketing, Finance, or a related field State teaching certification or ability to obtain certification in

Business Education or CTE Work Environment:

This position involves working in a classroom setting with high school students enrolled in a trade-focused academic program. The schedule may include elective course periods, planning periods, and participation in school activities or professional development events.
