QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, this individual must be highly relational and able to perform each essential duty with excellence. Candidates should possess a deep commitment to our Christian values, with a demonstrated ability to integrate faith seamlessly into academic guidance. A successful candidate will have a strong educational background, preferably with a bachelor’s degree or higher, and a desire to develop a passion for learning and creating in their field of expertise, and a teaching certification. Proven experience in mentorship or counseling roles, especially within a Christian educational context, is highly desirable. Academic advisement and spiritual development leadership at Calvary in Middle and Upper School, teachers is experienced in an advisement group of 15-18 students that you stay with for the duration of their career, respectively. Effective communication skills, empathy, and the ability to cultivate meaningful relationships with students are crucial. Candidates should be well-versed in educational technologies and open to incorporating AI-driven tools into their advisement practices.
