Job Posting Title Visiting Lecturer in Chemistry Job Description Summary Faculty Job Description The Chemistry Department of Wellesley College invites applications for a Visiting Lecturer position in Chemistry for the Fall 2025 semester. This is a benefits-eligible position, teaching a full load (one lecture course and three labs, or the equivalent) for the fall semester. There is a possibility of extension for the Spring 2026 semester. Applicants should have a broad background in chemistry, experience teaching undergraduates, and strong teaching, writing, and interpersonal skills. Candidates must be prepared to teach laboratory or lecture sections of organic chemistry and/or general chemistry. Preference will be given to candidates who have completed a Ph.D. or equivalent degree by the time of appointment, although candidates who are ABD will be considered. Wellesley College is a highly selective liberal arts college for undergraduate women located in the suburbs of Boston, USA, with a student body of ~2300 that is very diverse along many dimensions.
