Job Description:
The Department of Biological Sciences at Binghamton University (binghamton.edu/biology/ ) invites applicants for a Lecturer position with experience in biochemistry. Primary responsibilities will include the instruction of large
- and small-enrollment classes in Pre-health Biochemistry and related courses in the Biochemistry curriculum.
Candidates with prior teaching experience, especially those using innovative instructional methods and classroom technologies with large enrollment courses, will be given preference. The candidate should befortable in a student-centered environment and bemitted to the college mission. Initial appointment is for up to three years, beginning August 18, 2025, with the possibility of renewal.

Ph.D. in Biochemistry or related field by August 18, 2025
Experience teaching, or assisting with teaching, Biochemistry or related courses
Preferred Qualifications:
Biochemistry laboratory experience
Experience in teaching, or assisting with teaching, large enrollment undergraduate courses
Experience leading, or assisting, discussion sections
Experience with alternative and innovative instructional methods
