Position Summary
The position of Part-Time Fishing Coach is part-time position responsible for all duties associated with the coaching a specific sport and performing assigned ancillary duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Recruit and mentor quality student-athletes with ultimate goal of graduating a large percentage of recruited athletics. Oversee the operation of the assigned team or teams.
- Foster a customer service environment for fellow employees, students, and visitors. Be an Ambassador for the College. Support the college’s initiative to maximize retention of current students and enable students to finish their collegiate goals.
- Comply with all policies of the Alabama Community College System Board of Trustees, the ACCS Chancellor’s Office, and the College.
- Participate in College functions (Award and Honor events, Alumni Homing, Commencement, etc.).
- Assume other work related responsibilities as assigned by the appropriately assigned College administrator.
Qualifications
Required - Associates Degree from an accredited institution; but a Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution is preferred. Preferred
- Prior coaching experience on a college level experience
Preferred - CDL license or willingness to acquire
