Club Volleyball Coach TriCity Club Inc 102 Highway 265, Alabaster, AL 35007 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Volleyball Coach to lead our team in developing skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in volleyball and experience working with students of various ages. This role involves educating players on the fundamentals of the game, implementing effective training programs, and fostering a positive and motivating environment. Responsibilities Develop and implement training programs that enhance players’ skills and understanding of volleyball. Conduct regular practices, focusing on skill development, teamwork, and game strategies. Monitor players’ progress and provide constructive feedback to encourage improvement. Organize and oversee team activities, including matches, tournaments, and community events. Promote a positive team culture that emphasizes respect, sportsmanship, and personal growth. Communicate effectively with players, parents, and school staff regarding team goals and expectations. Manage behavior during practices and games to ensure a safe and productive environment. Skills Strong knowledge of volleyball techniques, rules, and strategies. Experience working with students in a coaching or educational capacity. Ability to educate players on fundamental skills while promoting teamwork. Proficiency in behavior management to maintain discipline during practices and games. Background in gym or health club settings is advantageous. Familiarity with other sports such as martial arts or cheerleading can enhance coaching effectiveness.
