On the court coaching responsibilities assigned by the Head Coach.
Ability to scout opponents and break down film.
Recruiting duties as assigned by the Head Coach.
Other duties as assigned by the Head Coach and Athletic Director.
Qualifications
Essential:
Bachelor’s Degree.
Successful coaching experience.
Ability to recruit. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability and desire to motivate student-athletes to succeed academically.
Proven ability to develop basketball players.
Knowledge of NCAA regulations.
Ability to work effectively with administration, faculty, coaching staff, students, alumni, and boosters.
Desired:
Master’s Degree. Knowledge of Division II and Gulf South Conference regulations.
