Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Gymnastics Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching gymnastics techniques to athletes of varying ages and skill levels, while fostering a safe, positive, and motivating environment. The coach will also contribute to skill development, physical conditioning, and overall athlete confidence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct gymnastics training sessions for recreational gymnasts. Teach and demonstrate skills in a variety of events (e.g., floor, beam, bars, vault). Assess athlete performance, provide constructive feedback, and create individual development plans. Ensure a safe training environment by following proper spotting techniques and equipment usage. Monitor and maintain equipment to ensure safety and proper functioning. Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and colleagues. Keep accurate attendance and progress records. Attend staff meetings, training clinics, and other professional development activities.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience coaching gymnastics (recreational or competitive level). Knowledge of skill progression, technique, and safety protocols. Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). Background check clearance required. Strong communication and motivational skills. Ability to work with children and young adults in a supportive and professional manner.

Working Conditions:

Physical work requires strength, agility, and stamina. Evening and weekend hours may be required. Indoor gym facility environment.
