Well, Montana Nights Axe Throwing in Newington may be the spot for you. We are currently looking for 1 Axe Throwing instructor for Saturday and Sunday shifts. This job is perfect for college students looking to make some extra cash. We are looking for candidates who like interacting with people. If you have social anxiety, this is not the job for you. Summary As an Axe Throwing Coach, you will be responsible for providing an engaging and safe environment for guests to learn and enjoy the sport of axe throwing. Reporting to the general manager and/or shift lead, your core skills in customer service and guest services will be essential in creating a memorable experience for participants. While no prior experience is required, your ability to communicate effectively through public speaking will enhance the coaching experience. Additionally, your skills in conflict management and events management will support the smooth operation of group events and ensure guest satisfaction. Join us in fostering a fun and exciting atmosphere for all! Responsibilities Provide excellent customer service to guests participating in axe throwing activities. Facilitate and lead axe throwing sessions, ensuring safety and proper technique. Learn and operate the digital target system. Engage with participants through public speaking, offering guidance and encouragement. Address any conflicts or concerns that arise during sessions with professionalism. Starting pay is $16.35 per hour plus cash tips. With cash tips, instructors can earn anywhere from $20 to $30 an hour! Each shift is usually between 4 to 6 hours long. There may be times you’ll be asked to work an 8-to-10-hour shift. No experience necessary. We will train you. Must be 21+ years old to apply. Must be able available to work Saturday nights and Sundays. Friday availability is a plus. Weekday availability after 4pm is a plus. Need to be energetic! Having a public speaking background is a plus, but not necessary. Prefer to hire someone who lives locally. Candidates who call to inquire about the position have a better chance of getting hired.
