Position Overview:

We are seeking enthusiastic and energetic Youth Sports Instructors to join our team. As an OTA Instructor, you will be responsible for leading and coaching children in a variety of sports and physical activities. You will play a key role in fostering a love for sports, promoting healthy lifestyles, and ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and instruct youth sports programs, including afterschool activities, camps, classes, and clinics. Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that align with OTA’s curriculum and goals. Provide a fun, safe, and inclusive environment for all participants. Encourage teamwork, sportsmanship, and positive attitudes among children. Monitor and ensure the safety of all participants during activities. Communicate effectively with parents, participants, and other staff members. Assist with setup and cleanup of program equipment and facilities. Attend training sessions and staff meetings as required.

Qualifications:

Passion for working with children and promoting physical activity. Prior experience in coaching, teaching, or working with children in a sports or recreational setting is preferred. Strong knowledge of various sports and physical activities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to lead and motivate groups of children with varying skill levels. CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). Reliable transportation and ability to travel to various program locations.
