We’re looking for enthusiastic and dependable coaches to join our summer camp team! Job Description The Summer Camp Coach plays a vital role in creating a safe, fun, and enriching environment for children ages 5-12 during our 9-week summer camp program. This individual will lead daily recreational and educational activities, supervise campers, assist with camp logistics, and act as a positive role model. The ideal candidate is energetic, responsible, and passionate about youth development. Responsibilities Supervise and engage campers in games, crafts, sports, and science projects while ensuring a safe, positive environment. Plan and support recreational and educational programs that promote confidence, teamwork, and creativity. Assist in behavior and classroom management using positive reinforcement techniques. Help with daily camp routines, including snack/lunch time, transitions, and restroom breaks. Build strong relationships with campers, encouraging personal growth and friendship. Communicate clearly with children, parents, and fellow staff about camper needs and progress. Keep camp areas clean and organized, following all health and safety protocols. Participate in staff training (first aid, child development, etc.) and team meetings to stay prepared and engaged. Requirements Previous experience in childcare, teaching, babysitting, or camp settings preferred. Familiarity with childhood development concepts and activity planning. Certification in CPR/First Aid—or willingness to obtain before camp starts. Ability to lead and motivate groups of children with patience, empathy, and energy.
