• Strong desire to work with children and have FUN with it!
• Work a minimum of 1-2 weekday evenings and 1 weekend morning, 4-5 hour shifts
• Obtain Lifeguard/CPR/AED certification from our team within 90 days of employment and maintain certification while employed. British Swim School has Lifeguard Instructors on site to work with you through this process and hourly rates go up immediately.
• Ability to comfortably swim/tread in all water depths and maintain children’s safety during classes
• Conduct small group swim lessons for all ages and ability levels
• Have fun with students, parents, and co-workers through song and play
• Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
• Follow British Swim School curriculum and respond positively to constructive feedback
• Complete 40 hours of paid training, including online and in-person
