Varsity Basketball Head Coach – Middle School PE Teacher 3.8 3.8 out of 5 stars Davie, FL 33328 The Posnack School, Department of Athletics, invites applicants for the position of Varsity Basketball Head Coach. This coaching position could have a Middle School PE teaching job for the qualified candidate. Posnack is a private school and a member of the Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA). The candidate should possess the coaching expertise and organizational skills needed to work within the assigned duties of the Basketball program. Attendance at practice sessions and availability for all competition dates is a high priority. This position requires organization and supervision of all aspects of the Basketball program including, but not limited to: a commitment to academic success and the ability to relate to those student-athletes. Compliance with FHSAA and Posnack rules and regulations. Practice planning and game management.

Qualifications:

For the coaching position, a Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required, and at least two years of successful coaching experience at the elite travel or high school level and/or collegiate playing experience. For the teaching position, a Bachelor’s Degree is required and a current Florida teaching certificate is a plus or the ability to obtain one. Excellent communication skills and a student-focused approach are required.
