High School Diploma or GED (minimum requirement). 1 Reference Letter (this does not apply to current CCPS staff). Basic Life Support Program (First Aid, CPR and AED). Current Florida Educator Certification or Athletic Coaching Certification is required.

NOTE:

Athletic Coaching Certificates:

1. 3-Year Temporary Certificate (Issued ONLY to give a coach the opportunity to complete the requirements for the 5-Year Certificate. It is NOT renewable.) 2. 5-Year Athletic Coaching Certificate

WHO NEEDS IT?

Coaches who are paid a supplement from the school District but DO NOT hold a Temporary or Professional Educator Certificate. Volunteer Coaches who are employees of the Collier County Public Schools, but do not hold a Temporary or Professional Educator’s Certification.
