We are committed to equipping students to excel in all areas of life—academically, physically, and spiritually—while honoring God in everything they do. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Cheerleading and Dance Coach to lead and inspire our cheerleading and dance teams. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in cheerleading and sports coaching, with the ability to educate and motivate students of varying skill levels. This role requires a commitment to fostering teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship while ensuring a safe and positive environment for all participants. Duties Lead practices and conditioning sessions for elementary and JV cheer and dance teams Teach proper cheer techniques, chants, stunting safety, and age-appropriate dance routines Prepare teams for athletic events, pep rallies, and special school performances Promote teamwork, school spirit, and Christian values through daily coaching Maintain clear communication with parents, staff, and administrators Ensure all participants’ safety and uphold the school’s code of conduct Attend school events and games as scheduled Collaborate with parents and school officials to promote the cheerleading program and its activities Maintain a safe environment by adhering to safety guidelines during practices and events Qualifications Previous experience in cheerleading or sports coaching is preferred. Experience working with students or youth in an educational or athletic setting is highly desirable. Knowledge of gymnastics or martial arts techniques is a plus, as it can enhance training methods. Ability to climb and perform stunts safely while ensuring the well-being of all participants. Strong communication skills to effectively educate and motivate students. A positive attitude with a passion for teaching and developing young athletes in a supportive environment. Certification in lifeguarding or first aid/CPR is beneficial but not mandatory.
