Summer Camp Teacher/Coach NFEI Jacksonville, FL 32205 Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated teachers, college students, interns, and/or coaches to join one of our six-week summer camp programs. This role is designed for individuals who are enthusiastic about working with children and bring creativity and fun in a safe environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with children (elementary, middle, or high school), along with experience in coaching or tutoring. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of young learners through creative and active experiences.
Duties :
Implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students. Provide individualized support and tutoring to enhance children’s learning experiences. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and collaboration. Organize and lead activities related to theater, sports, or other extracurricular programs. Maintain a safe and nurturing atmosphere by adhering to first aid protocols and safety guidelines. Requirements Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices. Experience working with children in various settings such as childcare, camps, or special education environments is preferred. Background in athletics, STEM, or other creative arts is a plus for those interested in integrating creative activities into the curriculum. Proven experience in tutoring or providing educational support to children. Certification in first aid is required ; additional certifications related to child safety are advantageous.
