The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching and coaching, with the ability to educate and inspire students of all ages and skill levels. As a Ski Instructor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality instruction in skiing techniques, ensuring safety on the slopes, and fostering a love for winter sports among participants. Responsibilities Conduct engaging ski lessons for individuals and groups, adapting instruction to meet the needs of each student. Educate students on proper skiing techniques, safety protocols, and equipment usage. Create a positive learning environment that encourages skill development and confidence on the slopes. Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their skiing abilities. Ensure the safety of all participants by enforcing safety guidelines and responding to emergencies as needed. Collaborate with other instructors and staff to promote ski programs and events. Maintain equipment and facilities in good condition, reporting any issues promptly. Requirements Previous experience in teaching physical education or coaching sports is preferred. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with students of all ages. Background in martial arts, cheerleading, basketball, swimming, or childcare is a plus. Experience working with students in a gym or health club setting is advantageous. Ability to demonstrate skiing techniques clearly and effectively. Must possess a valid ski instructor certification or be willing to obtain one upon hiring. A passion for winter sports and a commitment to promoting an enjoyable learning experience for all participants.
