The British Swim School is a recognized National Swimming Franchise teaching swimming since 1981. With 4 locations in Miami we work indoors. We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Swim Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for teaching and a strong background in the water. As a Swim Instructor, you will be responsible for educating students on swimming techniques, safety practices, and water confidence. Your role is crucial in fostering a positive learning environment that encourages skill development and personal growth. Responsibilities Instruct students in swimming techniques, ensuring proper form and safety practices. Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their skills. Maintain a safe and clean swimming environment, adhering to all safety regulations. Engage with students through various activities, including swimming, climbing, and other physical education exercises. Communicate effectively with students and their guardians regarding progress and any concerns. Collaborate with other instructors to create a well-rounded physical education program. Skills Strong knowledge of swimming techniques and safety protocols. Experience working with students in an educational or recreational setting. Ability to teach physical education concepts effectively. Proficiency in behavior management strategies to support student engagement. Background in childcare or experience working with children is preferred. Additional skills in Karate, Basketball, or climbing are advantageous but not required. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with students and parents effectively. A positive attitude and the ability to motivate others.
