Swimming Teacher NickSwimSchool Miami, FL 33127 Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and certified Swimming Instructor to join our growing swim school. You will be responsible for independently planning and executing swim classes for students of all ages—children, teens, and adults. The role requires a minimum of three structured classes, covering both beginner and advanced-level swimming skills. Key Responsibilities Plan, conduct, and lead swim classes independently. Accurately assess each student’s skill level and progress. Adapt teaching methods to meet the emotional and physical needs of students, including managing stress, fear, and hesitation. Communicate regularly with the owner to provide updates and recommend level advancements. Maintain a safe, engaging, and respectful class environment. Submit a brief report to the owner following each teaching session. Qualifications Valid swimming instructor certification/license (e.g., Red Cross, YMCA, WSI, or equivalent). Clean criminal background (required – will be verified prior to employment). Strong communication skills and emotional intelligence. Experience teaching both children and adults is essential. Ability to work independently without micromanagement. Additional Information More details will be provided during the interview process.
