CFLA is a small school with approximately 120 students (Middle & High). We believe all students benefit from participation in athletics and are excited about bringing on someone who will both inspire their players to realize their potential and maintain the discipline required to help them get there. As the Head Varsity Volleyball Coach , you would be responsible for: Leading by example in the areas of personal character, conduct and discipline Setting and maintaining a practice schedule Selecting your team and team managers Transporting your players to and from games (via 15-passenger van. No CDL required). Collaborate with our Athletic Director to ensure your players are fully cleared to participate in athletic activities Abide by all FSHAA policies As a team member at Central Florida Leadership Academy, you would be part of a small, joyful team of dedicated educators who daily strive to help our students grow in their character and competence. This position is paid through a stipend in accordance with CFLA’s athletics stipend schedule. All candidates must meet the following qualifications: Ability to pass a Level 2 screening and background check Non-expired Driver’s License Ability to communicate effectively in writing and in person Ability to reliably make team games and the practice schedule you set up Ability to lift items 20+ lbs or more and be active An excellent candidate will be someone who is: Organized & Great at communication : you are on top of compliance standards, keep your players, families and school up to date about upcoming events (practices, games, etc.).
