We are currently seeking a Part-Time Robotics Coach for the 2025-2026 school year to lead and grow our high school robotics program. Position Overview The Robotics Coach will guide and mentor our high school robotics team(s), preparing students to participate in regional and national competitions such as FIRST or VEX. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with robotics systems, strong organizational skills, and a passion for STEM education and student development. Key Responsibilities Lead the high school robotics team, including after-school practices (approximately 2 days per week) and select weekend competitions. Mentor students in design, programming, building, and troubleshooting robots. Foster collaboration, creativity, and problem-solving among students. Help manage materials, tools, and equipment used by the team. Work with school leadership to ensure alignment with school values and goals. Communicate with students, parents, and competition organizers as needed.

Optional:

Assist in managing the school Makerspace or support STEM-related initiatives. Qualifications Experience with high school robotics programs (e.g., FRC, FTC, or VEX) preferred. Background in engineering, computer science, or STEM education is a plus. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to supervise and motivate high school students. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and occasional weekends.
