On The Hop (OTH) Athletics is a growing youth sports organization focused on building strong athletes and even stronger character. Our volleyball club program is designed to teach young players the fundamentals of the game while competing at a high level. We’re looking for passionate coaches to help lead our travel volleyball teams through a successful and rewarding season.
Position Overview:
We are seeking committed and energetic Head Coaches and Assistant Coaches to join our volleyball program. Coaches will be responsible for instructing players in core volleyball techniques, fostering team development, and maintaining a positive, growth-focused environment.
Responsibilities:
Teach and reinforce volleyball fundamentals, including serving, passing, setting, hitting, and blocking Lead or assist in practices, games, and tournaments Develop and implement training plans for players of various skill levels Promote sportsmanship, teamwork, discipline, and a positive attitude Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and club leadership Ensure player safety and supervision at all times Attend all scheduled practices, games, and team events
Qualifications:
Prior coaching or playing experience in volleyball (club, college, high school, or recreational level) Strong knowledge of volleyball techniques and game strategies Ability to teach and communicate with youth athletes ages 11-18 Must be dependable, punctual, and a positive role model CPR/First Aid certification and background check (or willingness to obtain) Preferred (not required): Coaching certification through USAV, AAU, or NFHS Experience with travel or club-level volleyball teams Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus Why Join OTH Athletics?
