Gymnastics Coach/ Summer Camp Coach TLC Athletics Gymnastics 7173 Covington Highway, Lithonia, GA 30058 Job Summary We are looking for a summer Camp Coach $250 weekly, 8am to 4pm. Class Coach, Part time, 4pm to 630pm $100 weekly We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Gymnastics Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in gymnastics or related sports, or experience with children, someone with the ability to teach and inspire students of various skill levels. This role involves developing gymnastics skills, promoting physical fitness, and ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all participants. Duties Instruct students in gymnastics techniques, movements, and routines while ensuring safety protocols are followed. Develop lesson plans that cater to the varying skill levels of students, focusing on both individual and group instruction. Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their skills and confidence. Foster a positive and encouraging atmosphere that promotes teamwork, discipline, and respect among students. Implement behavior management strategies to maintain a focused learning environment. Collaborate with other coaches and staff to organize events, competitions, and showcases. Maintain equipment and gym facilities to ensure a safe training environment. Experience Previous experience in sports coaching or teaching physical education is preferred. Background in gymnastics, martial arts (such as karate), or related disciplines is highly desirable. Experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting is beneficial. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with students and parents. Knowledge of health club operations or experience in a gym environment is an advantage. Ability to climb and demonstrate gymnastics movements as required for instruction.
