For a decade, we’ve been committed to uplifting women through culturally sensitive and fitness-focused programs, and our swim classes are an extension of that vision. We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Swim Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a strong background in swimming and physical education. This role involves instructing students of various ages and skill levels, ensuring their safety while promoting water safety and swim techniques. The Swim Instructor will play a crucial role in fostering a positive learning environment and encouraging students to develop their swimming skills. Duties Conduct swim lessons for individuals or groups, adapting instruction to meet the needs of each student. Educate students on water safety practices and proper swimming techniques. Monitor students’ progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their skills. Implement behavior management strategies to maintain a positive learning atmosphere. Collaborate with other instructors and staff to create engaging lesson plans. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pool area, ensuring all safety protocols are followed. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and guardians regarding progress and any concerns. Qualifications Background in swimming Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with students of all ages. Certification in CPR and First Aid is preferred but not mandatory; swim instructor certification is preferred but not mandatory.
