The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a Graduate Assistant for Men’s Basketball Operations of the Dahlonega campus. Graduate Assistant for Basketball Operations will assist with all operations of the men’s basketball program.
Assist in practice execution and individual skill work execution
Recruit prospective student athletes
Assist in the monitoring of academic progress of student athletes 10 Yes
Monitor locker room and gym space to ensure its readiness for all program operations.
Gameday coordination such as equipment organization, locker room setup, and liaison to all visitors
Practice coordination such as setup, liaison to visitors, and equipment management
Student Assistant orientation including educating on the operation of the program and teaching practice responsibilities to student assistants
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Ability to be organized and communicate effectively.
Bachelor’s degree required.
Acceptance into a graduate program at UNG.
Experience working within a collegiate athletic department.
Students on a Full-time and Half-time graduate assistantships must enroll in a minimum of 6 graduate hours each Fall/Spring. Graduate assistants serving in summer term must maintain the minimum enrollment of 3 credit hours.
