The University of North Georgia is accepting applications for a Graduate Assistant for Women’s Basketball. Assist with day-to-day operations with the Women’s Basketball Program.
Assist with daily office duties
Game day responsibilities – Game warmup, film, visitors, charts, etc.
Assist with travel arrangements for games & recruiting
Engage in practice planning
Assist with coordination of and participation in individual skill workouts with players
Assist with coordination/supervision of study hall
Recruiting off campus and assist with the coordination of recruit visits on campus
Responsible for player schedules & practice times
Responsible for locker room & gear maintenance
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
CPR/First Aid/AED Certifications
General Basketball Knowledge, Office and Communication Skills
Must currently have, or will obtain by the start date a Bachelor’s Degree.
Experience playing/coaching at the collegiate level.
Students on a Full-time and Half-time graduate assistantships must enroll in a minimum of 6 graduate hours each Fall/Spring. Graduate assistants serving in summer term must maintain the minimum enrollment of 3 credit hours.
