Job Description
Position Overview:
Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy is seeking an experienced Baseball Coach to lead its high school Baseball program. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree and possess a valid Louisiana High School Physical Education/Health certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
2+ years of experience working with high school students in a school or athletic setting. ESL or Special Education teacher certification is a strong plus
Responsibilities:
Coach and develop the high school softball team, fostering athletic skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Support student-athletes in maintaining academic eligibility and success Promote student wellness and physical fitness. Collaborate with academic staff and families to monitor student progress and attendance. Contribute to the school’s athletic community and represent Discovery positively
