SuperTots Sports Academy is a franchised child physical development program that is locally owned and family run in New Orleans. We use a variety of fun games to delight and engage kids in physical and mental learning through various sports. The curriculum is professionally designed to develop motor skills, promote physical fitness, create self-confidence and prepare young children for sports. It stresses a non-competitive environment and promotes fun above all else. Duties Include ➤
Teaching:
Using the provided curriculum to direct small classes of kids ages 18 months to 5 years old. Lead the activities, teach proper motor and sports skills, and teach behavior skills. ➤
Sales and Customer Service:
You will play a pivotal role in both the student and parent customer experience. Besides teaching, you will help parents with schedule issues, questions and participant evaluations. ➤
Class Set Up:
You will set up the provided equipment each class day and carrying it during the season. ➤
Class Management:
Keep track of each student’s progress and report it to parents. Take attendance and other simple administration tasks for each program you are running.
Job Requirements:
Skyhawks is looking for child-oriented individuals who are highly-motivated, energetic people that enjoy working with children. Applicants must have a minimum 3.0 GPA, reliable transportation and willingness to travel within the area. SuperTots Sports requires directors to be First Aid and CPR certified prior to their first program.
Year Round Program Format & Hours:
Sports classes consist of after-school and weekend programs. Programs run after 2:45pm on weekdays and on Saturdays. Staff must commit to the multiple classes they are assigned to for the full length of the program (6 to 10 weeks). The area manager will work with staff to build a schedule that works with their individual school and/or other work schedule.
