Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree required
Master’s degree preferred
Must have excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills Able to operate within a team environment; and, previous experience in Men’s basketball at the collegiate level as a full-time employee, graduate student, or intern is preferred Job Duties and Other Information
ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES
Assists in preparation of team practice sessions and game planning as well as on court responsibilities permitted by current NCAA policy
Provides oversight of student coaches, student managers and volunteers Execute all aspects of team travel, including, but not limited to, team meals, snacks, hotels, transportation, travel preparation (travel advance forms), post trip requirements, travel reconciliations to the athletic business manager, etc. Executes all aspects of team purchasing including requisitions and purchase orders, receiving all orders, and working with the athletic business office and NSU business affairs in all aspects of purchasing Stay abreast of and comply with all NCAA, SLC, NSU, and University of LA rules and regulations
Administer summer camps as appropriate and have oversight of staff calendar and internal staff and team communication Participate in community activities to promote your sport, department and/or university and identify and cultivate potential donors to the athletic department and university and develop positive relationships with students, faculty, staff, and community members

Assist the NSU Admissions office in identifying and recruiting students who are outstanding academically or in extracurricular activities other than athletics Employer
