The coach will be responsible for planning practices, developing players, and fostering a team culture that is competitive, supportive, and mission-aligned. Key Responsibilities Lead all aspects of JV practices and games with a focus on fundamentals, teamwork, and sportsmanship, in conjunction with the program alignment from Varsity to Middle School. Mentor student-athletes across varying skill levels, encouraging courage and confidence, discipline and growth. Communicate effectively with student-athletes, families, and the Athletics Department. Willingness and ability to drive school vehicles for practices and competitions. Uphold and model the values of Sacred Heart education and the mission of Falcon Athletics, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for all athletes. Complete other related duties as requested by the Director of Athletics. Preferred Qualifications Playing or coaching experience in field hockey (high school or collegiate level preferred). Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. A passion for developing young women through sport. CPR/First Aid and SafeSport certifications (or willingness to complete prior to the season). CORI background check and fingerprinting required.
