The Falcons have captured the Eastern Independent League (EIL) championship for the past four consecutive years and are poised to continue this tradition of excellence. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, technical expertise, and a commitment to fostering a competitive and mission-aligned team culture. This individual will be responsible for all aspects of the varsity volleyball program, including coaching, planning, mentorship, and collaboration across the Athletics Department. Position ResponsibilitiesCoaching & Program Leadership Lead all aspects of varsity volleyball practices, matches, and postseason play. Develop and implement strategic game plans and practice structures to maximize team performance. Foster a competitive, inclusive, and values-driven team culture that emphasizes student-athlete development, sportsmanship, and character. Provide individualized feedback to help players grow in technical skill, tactical awareness, and team leadership. Team Development & Collaboration Serve as a role model and mentor to student-athletes, supporting their growth both on and off the court. Work in alignment with the JV and Middle School coaches to create a vertically integrated program that develops talent at all levels. Communicate effectively with student-athletes, families, and school personnel, ensuring alignment with academic and athletic priorities. Operations & Program Support Coordinate all game-day logistics, including rosters, transportation, and equipment. Lead scouting efforts and video analysis to support player and team preparation. Uphold safety standards and ensure the physical and emotional well-being of all student-athletes. Be willing and eligible to drive a school minibus to away games as needed. Qualifications Prior coaching experience at the high school, club, or collegiate level is required; head coaching experience is strongly preferred. Demonstrated success in player development and team leadership. Deep knowledge of volleyball tactics, training methods, and competitive strategy. Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills. CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
