Athletic Performance/Strength and Conditioning Coach 3.8 3.8 out of 5 stars 256 Ayer Road, Harvard, MA 01451 Job Summary I am seeking a strength and conditioning coach looking to join our growing community of athletes at The Stable. The ideal candidate would be personable, creative, supportive, motivational, and a good role model. Our primarily clientele is baseball players, though we have other athletes as well. We currently train athletes as young as 11 years old all the way into the Major Leagues. This position would start out as a youth athletic development coordinator responsible for the development of most of our athletes 15 and under. The role has the potential to grow into much more, with opportunities to handle individual programming duties for high school athletes as well, even into the collegiate and professional ranks in due time. A candidate that can either 1) advance our current reach into other sports or 2) has previous experience playing baseball would be ideal. Non summer hours are 3-8:30 M, T, W, Th; 3-7 F; 9-1 Sat. Summer hours are 8:30-2 M, T, W, Th, F; 8-12 Sat. Our athletes love being a part of our community. We are a tight knit group and looking for a coach that can add to our environment! Baseball coaching opportunities will also be available if candidate has previous playing experience. Duties Conduct initial assessments to evaluate clients’ fitness levels and establish goals. Design and implement youth-tailored workout plans for groups of athletes. Educate clients on proper exercise techniques. Provide ongoing support and motivation to help clients achieve their performance objectives. Monitor client progress through regular evaluations and adjust programs as necessary. Uphold The Stable’s 3 Pillars of Accountability, Detail, and Community. Help clean the facility 1x/week. Help create an environment conducive to a positive training experience. Experience Formal education in related field and/or previous coaching experience is preferred but not mandatory. Previous experience in youth training is preferred but not mandatory. Previous athletic history is preferred but not mandatory.
