Staff Assistant – Head Strength & Condit Position Available In Worcester, Massachusetts

• Staff Assistant – Head Strength & Conditioning Coach (10 month)
• TheHead Strength and Conditioning Coach will oversee the development,implementation and management of sport-specific strength andconditioning programs for all student athletes and with the operation ofthe Landry Fitness Center.

Fitchburg State University,Fitchburg, MA Type:

Full-time, benefited, 10-month contract (mid-Augustto mid-June)

Salary Range:

$57,000-$62,000 annually, based onexperience

• Main Responsibilities:

• -Develop and implement strengthand conditioning programs for all varsity sports teams.

Teach properexercise techniques, supervise workouts, and motivate student athletes.

Conduct performance tests, track progress, and review results withathletes and coaches. Supervise student interns and collaborate with theExercise and Sports Science Department. Help plan and organizeoperations for a new fitness center. Maintain equipment and recommendrepairs or replacements. Create health and wellness programming forstudent athletes.

• Qualifications:

• Bachelor?

s Degree. CertifiedStrength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) or equivalent. CPR/AEDcertified. Knowledge of safe exercise techniques for college athletes.

Ability to supervise, motivate, and communicate effectively with diversepopulations. Pass background check.
