Job Description
JV Girls Basketball Coach 3.0 3.0 out of 5 stars North Berwick, ME 03906 To instruct athletes in the fundamental skills, strategy and physical training necessary for them to realize a degree of individual and team success. At the same time, the students shall receive instruction that will lead to the formulation of moral values, pride of accomplishment, acceptable social behavior, self-discipline and self-confidence.
Ensure and provide the safest possible competitive & educational environment for all student-athletes involved.
Lead the overall development of the Noble JV Girls Basketball program as assigned by the Department of Athletics.
Qualifications:
Previous experience competing in and/or coaching Basketball at the high school level or higherMaine Department of Education valid fingerprinting and CHRC approval.
Required NFHS Courses:
First Aid & CPR certification.

Abide by the Noble High School Athletic Departments Coaches HandbookAbide by all Maine Principals Association rules and regulationsFollow and implement all rules and policies within the school & athletic handbooksEquipment inventory & managementMay need to communicate travel arrangement & schedule with Athletic Department staffImplement school athletic Code of ConductMake sure roster and students comply with Athletic Department guidelinesHelp in the distribution of team rosters, contest schedules and descriptions of contest locations to all players and parentsProperly communicate with students and parentsMonitor athlete attendance/behavior/academic status as communicated by the athletic departmentCommunicate all student-athlete injuries to the Athletic Trainer and/or athletic officeAttend all school Athletic Department meetings as assigned by the Athletic DirectorAll others as assigned by the Director of Athletics and the Athletic Department
