St. Louis, MO Job Details Part-time $13.75 – $20.00 an hour 1 day ago Benefits 403(b) Qualifications Sports coaching Driver’s License Bachelor’s degree Communication skills Soccer Entry level Full Job Description Hiring Department Athletics Job Description The University of Missouri-St. Louis (UMSL), a proud member of NCAA Division II and the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC), is seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to serve as a part-time Assistant Coach for the Women’s Soccer program. This position assists the Head Coach with all aspects of the women’s soccer program, including coaching, recruiting, training, and student-athlete development, while supporting the department’s mission and the University’s commitment to academic and athletic excellence. Primary Responsibilities Assist in the planning and execution of daily practices and training sessions. Provide on-field coaching and skill development under the direction of the Head Coach. Support the recruitment and evaluation of prospective student-athletes consistent with NCAA and GLVC regulations. Assist in the coordination of team travel, equipment, and game-day operations. Foster a positive team culture that emphasizes academic achievement, athletic excellence, personal growth, and accountability. Maintain compliance with all UMSL, NCAA, and GLVC rules and policies. Support student-athlete academic progress and wellbeing in collaboration with department staff. Assist with video analysis, scouting reports, and game preparation. Represent the program at department, campus, and community events as needed. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree Previous competitive soccer playing or coaching experience (collegiate level preferred) Valid driver’s license and ability to travel with the team Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Ability to work evenings, weekends, and travel as required Preferred Qualifications Experience coaching at the NCAA level Familiarity with NCAA Division II rules and recruiting procedures Demonstrated commitment to the academic and athletic success of student-athletes

Anticipated Hiring Range Salary Range:

$13.75 and Max to be $20.00 ; compensation will be based on experience and availability
