Job Description
Duties:
Assist the head strength and conditioning coach to design, implement, conduct and monitor strength and conditioning programs for student-athletes. Coordinate student-athlete rehabilitation with athletics training staff and assist with rehabilitation of injured student-athletes. Help to educate student-athletes about nutrition and supplementation.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s in Sport Science – Strength and Conditioning, or closely related field. 2 years of strength and conditioning coaching experience, including some strong experience or academic training in each of the following: designing, implementing, conducting, and monitoring strength and conditioning programs for collegiate level athletes; coordinating training plans for rehabilitation of injuries; providing nutritional and supplementation guidance; CPR, AED and first aid maneuvers; training and supervising interns or graduate assistants.
