Recreational Gymnastics Coach Fun 2B Fit Gymnastics Concord, NC 28027 Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Gymnastics Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in physical education and a love for teaching young athletes the fundamentals of gymnastics. This role involves educating students in various gymnastics techniques, promoting physical fitness, and fostering a positive and encouraging environment for all participants. Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging gymnastics lesson plans tailored to different skill levels. Teach fundamental gymnastics skills including tumbling, balance beam, and vaulting techniques. Provide individualized instruction to students, ensuring proper technique and safety measures are followed. Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their skills. Maintain a safe and organized gym environment, ensuring all equipment is properly set up and maintained. Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging teamwork and sportsmanship. Implement behavior management strategies to create a respectful and focused training atmosphere. Collaborate with other coaches and staff to organize events, competitions, and showcases for students. Requirements Experience in teaching physical education or coaching gymnastics is preferred. Strong knowledge of gymnastics techniques and safety protocols. Ability to climb, swim, and perform physical activities as required by the role. Experience working with students in a coaching or educational setting is highly desirable. Skills in behavior management to effectively guide student interactions during training sessions. Additional experience in martial arts such as Karate or Judo is a plus. Certification as a lifeguard is advantageous but not mandatory. Excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate young athletes effectively.
