$21.7K – $26.8K a year 1 day ago Qualifications Entry level Full Job Description Durham Academy is accepting applications for a part-time Assistant Middle School Boys Soccer Coach. The season runs from approximately mid-August through Mid-October.

Job Responsibilities:

Assists the instruction of our MS “A” and / or “B” soccer team(s) to include Coordinating tryouts and team selection Practice planning and execution Game strategy Distributing equipment and uniforms in conjunction with the MS Athletics Coordinator Explaining rules and regulations Assists with supervising student-athletes Responsible for driving a mini-bus to all road games Regular communication and teamwork with the other MS soccer coaches as well as Varsity program head coach Ideal candidates will have prior coaching experience and hold either a USSF coaching license or a USYS National Youth Diploma. Candidates should expect a regular weekday commitment at practices that typically run from 3:30-5:00 p.m. along with two-three games per week with most road games not being more than 45 minutes away from Durham Academy. The ideal candidate will have the following personal characteristics: Provide safe, healthy environment for practice and play Able to work as part of a team Communicate clearly and effectively Strong interpersonal skills Maintain positive and professional working relationships with all members of the school community to include student-athletes, parents, teachers, fellow coaches and administration.
