The academy values academic rigor, Christlike character, interpersonal growth, and worldview development to prepare students for post-graduate institutions and leadership roles in the community. Role Description This is a part-time role for Head Varsity Soccer Coach at Cresset Christian Academy. The Head Coach will lead day-to-day soccer coaching activities, develop player skills, oversee team strategies, and foster a positive team environment. Additionally, the Coach will collaborate with staff and parents to ensure student-athletes’ holistic development.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Plan and execute effective soccer team practices, drills, and conditioning sessions. Ensure player and coaching staff compliance with Cresset Christian Academy’s athletic policies and guidelines. Lead the planning, development, and implementation of the instructional soccer program. Oversee the administration and continuous improvement of the soccer program. Provide consistent, clear, and timely communication with parents and stakeholders, including but not limited to game details, parent volunteer opportunities, and travel arrangements. Demonstrate professionalism in behavior, appearance, and conduct during practices and games.

Qualifications:

Previous coaching experience, preferably at the high school or collegiate level. Strong understanding of soccer fundamentals, tactics, and strategies. A heart for mentoring young athletes and modeling Christian character. Ability to work collaboratively with students, faculty, and parents. Strong communication and leadership skills. Availability for after-school practices, games, and weekend events. Certifications in coaching or relevant field are a plus
