Head High School Football Coach Position Available In Mecklenburg, North Carolina

Head High School Football Coach Bradford Preparatory School 2502 Salome Church Road, Charlotte, NC 28262 Competitive Charter School looking for head coach to start the high school program

• starting with JV for the fall of 2025, moving to Varsity the fall of 2026.

The season runs from August through November.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE

Candidate must have previous experience coaching football and a good understanding of how to work with high school student-athletes; Personal football playing experience and understanding of NCHSAA football rules and policies; Effective leadership and coaching skills; Good communication skills with players, parents, and the Athletics Department; Energetic, self-motivated, flexible, punctual, dependable, and a team player. NCHSAA Coaching Requirements (Concussion, FOC, CPR etc.)

Essential Duties:

• Instructs the athletes in techniques and strategies of football
• Creates, organizes and directs practices including activities/exercises/drills/workouts for athletes
• Supports team strategy during games
• Supervises athletes during practices, team events, and competitions
• Assist in monitoring individual player performance goals and expectations; Represent Bradford Prep and the program in a professional manner and within the bounds of good sportsmanship.
