: Gymnastics Coach —
P/T Hourly Summary:
River City Gymnastics is looking to hire the right coach to help us take the next step forward. Under direct supervision, the coach provides group gymnastics instruction, monitors and educates students on fitness and safety, and maintains a safe and enjoyable atmosphere for class participants.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Instructs scheduled classes, beginning and ending on time; provides adequate and effective gymnastics skills and lessons Instructs students on appropriate gymnastics methods; explains proper techniques, demonstrates exercises as needed Prepares appropriate equipment, music, and lesson plan for each class Assists students, answers questions, and maintains a positive gymnastics experience for members and class participants Keeps management informed of customer and facility needs Ensures that safety standards are met, and facility policies are adhered to Implements and regulates the facilities’ policies and procedures Performs other related duties as required by the gym Teach program students through gymnastics curriculum and activities that help them reach personal and physical goals Keep accurate attendance, daily lesson plans and curriculum records Supervise students to ensure appropriate development occurs in a fun, healthy and safe environment, and ensure program standards, outcomes and member satisfaction is consistently achieved
Qualifications:
Gymnastics background and coaching experience is preferred Can spot beginners (forward roll, cartwheel, pullover, etc.) to intermediate (kip, back tuck, cartwheel on the beam), and advance skills. Ability to work with limited supervision and as a team member Patient, calm and professional Has knowledge of gymnastics and an appreciation for how to teach the skills it requires Is enthusiastic, outgoing and able to relate to both parents and children in a fun, active and competitive environment Great communication skills
