Assistant Athletic Coach Preferred Qualifications:

Previous coaching experience is preferred Must be able to work with the head coach, providing practice and workout schedules along with conditioning methods The expectation is that the desired candidate will be a good communicator, reaching out to parents to ensure the success of the program Experience playing or coaching at the collegiate level is highly desirable Must have good organization and communication skills Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent may find appropriate

Job Summary :

Assists in providing leadership and support in planning, developing, and implementing an instructional program in the sport as assigned by the Coach Assists in providing leadership and support in administering the sports program Assists in fostering a climate conducive to learning as assigned by the Coach Assists in establishing and implementing an improvement process for the sport as assigned by the Coach Assists in establishing good public and employee relations for the sport as assigned by the Coach Maintains professional work habits Communicates with parents and the educational community (Professional and Interpersonal Relations) Implements fundamental sports skills and sports management systems (Coaching and Related Areas) Performs any other related duties as assigned by the Athletic Director / Principal.
