Essential Job Duties Duties include but are not limited to the following:
Serve as Head Strength & Conditioning Coach for Division 1 Men’s Basketball Program and other sport(s) as assigned.
Oversee Strength & Conditioning Program for Division 1 Athletic program.
Supervise and evaluate all strength and conditioning staff and training programs.
Coordinate a safe and effective staffing plan for training activities.
Utilize effective communication with Administration and Coaches and any other partner involved in the physical health of the student-athletes.
Ensure a commitment to compliance of
NCAA, NC
State University and ACC rules and regulations
Manage strength and conditioning budget which includes budget requests, salary management , facility maintenance and budgetary compliance. Other Responsibilities Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Minimum Education and Experience Minimum of a bachelor’s degree required with experience in relevant independent instructional or educational activities; specific minimum experience is at the discretion of the Director of Athletics. Other Required Qualifications Minimum of 2 years experience as Strength & Conditioning Coach in a Division 1 Level or Professional program.
CSCS or CSCCA certification required. Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree preferred.
1-2 years as a Strength & Conditioning Program at a Men’s Basketball Division 1 level or higher program. Required License(s) or Certification(s) CSCS or CSCCA certification required. Valid NC Driver’s License required No
Commercial Driver’s License required No
