Softball Coach / Instructor Diamond and Aces Sports Center Morrisville, NC Job Details Part-time | Contract $20 – $30 an hour 12 hours ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications Sports coaching Working with high schoolers High school diploma or GED Experience with children Entry level Full Job Description Diamond & Aces Sports Center is the Triangle’s premier baseball and softball training and sports recreation facility for athletes of all ages and skill levels. We utilize experienced, professional coaches to train players from ages 6-18 to improve their abilities on the field. We are growing and are looking for another ACE to join our team.

Our coach / instructor will:

Instruct clinics, programs and provide one-on-one or small group instruction on fundamentals of softball to players at different levels Assist in the development of athletes, maximizing their potential Work well with children between ages of 6-18 Create new clinics and programs Wants to coach and has an idea for how the game is evolving Desired attributes: MUST have playing and/or coaching experience in college or professional levels High school coaching experience will be considered Has provided group and/or individual training for 1+ years Ability to demonstrate up-to-date knowledge Has strong knowledge of primary skills like pitching, hitting, slapping and/or defense Passion for softball or athleticism that is contagious Knowledge of travel sports a plus Ability to work during the evenings during the week and/or during the day on weekends
