Responsibilities:

Instruct athletes in proper techniques for various gymnastics disciplines including floor, beam, vault, and bars. Evaluate and monitor athletes’ progress, providing feedback and guidance for skill improvement and overall performance enhancement. Plan and oversee practice sessions, ensuring a balance between skill development, strength conditioning, and injury prevention. Prepare gymnasts for local, and regional level competitions. Motivate and inspire athletes to maintain high levels of commitment, discipline, and sportsmanship. Collaborate with fellow coaches and staff to ensure a unified and successful program. Stay updated with the latest trends, techniques, and safety guidelines in gymnastics coaching.

Qualifications:

Proven track record in coaching competitive gymnastics at various levels. Deep knowledge of competitive gymnastics, from routines to skill development. Exceptional leadership and motivational skills to inspire athletes to excel. Ability to adapt training strategies to accommodate athletes of different ages and skill levels. A commitment to fostering a culture of sportsmanship, resilience, and growth. Passionate about fostering a positive learning environment and promoting the holistic development of athletes. USAG Competitive Coach Certification. Horizontal coaches need not apply.
