LEVEL 1 ASSISTANT COACH, WOMEN’S WRESTLING 3.3 3.3
out of 5 stars 1 Felician Way, Rutherford, NJ 07070 Felician University is presently offering an exciting opportunity for an energetic and goal-oriented individual with experience in women’s collegiate wrestling to serve as a level 1 Assistant Coach for our dynamic Women’s Wrestling team. The Assistant Coach serves as an assistant instructor for players, as well as supporting the Head Coach in the supervision all aspects of a NCAA national Collegiate Women’s Wrestling program. Reporting to the Head Women’s Wrestling Coach, the Assistant Coach assists in the preparation and execution of individual and team practices, training and competition; identifying and recruiting potential women’s wrestling student-athletes, including email, phone and mail correspondence; monitoring players’ academic progress; and complying with all aspects of the Felician University Coach’s manual. Required Education:
Bachelor’s Degree required, significant applicable experience may be accepted in lieu of degree
Qualifications:
Prior wrestling experience as a student-athlete or coach; general knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations; ability to work well with a diverse group of student athletes; interest in developing a career in collegiate coaching; positive attitude and eagerness to learn in a team-oriented environment; strong verbal and written communication skills; well-developed organizational and follow through skills; ability and willingness to work flex hours, including evenings and weekends; strong commitment to support and promote the Franciscan Felician core values and mission of the University.
