Known as “The Birthplace of College Football, Rutgers hosted Princeton on Nov. 6, 1869 in the first intercollegiate football game, with RU earning a 6-4 victory. Posting Summary Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking an Assistant Coach•Men’s Lacrosse for Athletics Events•Operations. Among the key duties of the position are the following:
Provides an opportunity for student-athletes to practice and compete on a competitive, Division I Men’s Lacrosse program while attending school to earn a college degree.

Position Pension Eligibility:
ABP Minimum Education and Experience Bachelors degree or an equivalent combination of education/experience. Certifications/Licenses A valid driver’s license would be required for this position; Use of personal vehicle in order to travel for business demands. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge of NCAA regulations relative to proper rules of play in the sport of men’s lacrosse.
Good organizational skills.
Ability to communicate with student-athletes and the media.
Computer literacy. Preferred Qualifications D1 Coaching experience at the Power 5 intercollegiate level, 5 years. Special Conditions Nights and weekends will be required.
Clean Driving Record.
