Head Baseball Coach Position Available In Albany, New York

Head Coach Baseball Russell Sage College Position:

12 month, full-time administrative position reporting to the Director of Athletics.

Supervises the following employees:

Assistant Baseball coach(es) and student workers for game management.

Duties:

Oversight for all phases of the Baseball program. Primary responsibilities include attracting, recruiting and retaining student-athletes who fit the educational mission of Russell Sage College.

Specific coaching responsibilities include:

Practice and game preparation Game day management (facilities/team needs), coaching and travel Recruitment efforts including travel, written and verbal communication and scouting Planning and maintaining team budget Supervision of support staff Training, practice development and organization Compliance with NCAA and conference legislation Other duties as assigned by the

Director of Athletics Position Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred; highly organized individual with strong writing and verbal skills; previous college playing and/or coaching experience required; experience in recruiting preferred; demonstrated commitment to NCAA Division III philosophy.
