Job Description
This 10-month position will be responsible for assisting the Head Coach with all aspects of managing a competitive Division III Men’s Ice Hockey program consistent with the NCAA Division III philosophy. The Assistant Coach will support the program through assisting in practice planning, recruiting, game day management, and scheduling. Assistance with budget planning; team travel logistics; and community service activities is also expected. The department of Athletics & Recreation subscribes to the philosophy that athletics complements the total education experience of our students. Bachelor’s degree at the time of appointment Collegiate coaching experience at the NCAA Division III level Demonstrated skills in leadership, communication, organization, and relationship building CPR/AED certification will be required within one month of appointment A valid driver license at the time of appointment and the ability and willingness to drive fleet vehicles Willingness and ability to travel and perform evening and weekend work A demonstrated ability to work effectively with faculty, staff and administrators
